Phillip Ray Tolbert

Phillip Ray Tolbert Sr., age 66, of Rogers, Ark., passed away April 5, 2014, in a local hospice facility. Phillip was born Sept. 27, 1947, in Memphis, Tenn. He was a general contractor and member of the New Hope Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Phillip was a faithful and baptized servant of the Jehovah's Witnesses for 56 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond G. Tolbert; daughter-in-law, Amy Dawn Tolbert and a brother in law, Jack Wise Jr. He is survived by his mother, Mary Grace Moore and husband, Harvey; his wife, Joyce Tolbert of Rogers; three sons, Phillip Ray Tolbert Jr., Abraham Joseph Tolbert, James Maxwell Tolbert; one daughter, Lara Elaine Tolbert of Bartlett, Tenn.; stepdaughter, Julie Ann Copp; grandchildren, Nikki Tolbert, Kaitlyn Joyner, Dylan Pogue, Jacob Steffens; one great-grandchild, Parker Joyner; two sisters and brother-in-law, Patricia Wise, Pam and Roger Nash. Memorial Services were held 6:30 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2014, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on New Hope in Rogers. Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers, is handling arrangements.
