William Peter Petersen

William Peter Petersen Jr., 82, of Rogers passed away April 1, 2014, in Rogers. He was born Nov. 21, 1931, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the son of William Peter and Leila Francis Jewell Petersen. William formerly lived in Council Bluffs until 1972; he then moved to Fort Worth till 1980 before moving to Rogers. He retired from Just Poultry in Nashville, Ark.; he formerly owned Petersen Radio and was co-owner of Hickory Creek Marina. He enjoyed making knives, fishing, going for rides, picnics and watching NASCAR racing. William was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Council Bluffs. He is survived by his wife, Marcella Mae Rhoades Petersen of the home; children, Diana Delozier of Nashville, Ark., William P. Petersen III of Arlington, Texas, Denise Ortiz and Michael Petersen, both of Rogers; grandchildren, Ryan Jones, Joshua Delozier and Andrew Delozier, Maria Kerbleski, Peter Petersen, Catherine Petersen, Bere Ortiz; and six great-grandchildren.
