Ethel LaVerne Bush

Ethel LaVerne Bush, 97, a resident of Lincoln, Ark., passed away April 1, 2014, in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born Dec. 30, 1916, at Saint Vrain, N.M., the daughter of James Knox Polk and Mary Bossa Hines LaVerne. She was a member of the Lincoln Presbyterian Church. Survivors include three sons, William L. Bush, Robert D. Bush and Benjamin E. Bush, all of Lincoln, Ark.; seven grandchildren, William L. Bush, Robert David Bush, Danny Lee Bush, Shea Bush Gonser, Amanda Bush, Meghan Bush and Melissa Little. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral service will be held Monday, April 7, 2014, 2 p.m. First Presbyterian Church Lincoln, Ark., with burial in Bethesda Cemetery, Morrow, Ark.
