Linda Marie McIntosh

Linda Marie McIntosh, 48, of Hollister, Mo., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, in Bentonville. She was born July 22, 1965, in Wichita, Kan., to Elmer ‘Tuffy' and Irene Scheer McIntosh. For many years she worked in Branson brokering and delivering tickets to the many entertainment venues of Branson. She was nearing completion of her degree in accounting from Missouri State University in Springfield. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and by a brother, Douglas McIntosh. Survivors include her father, Elmer "Tuffy" McIntosh of Garden Plain, Kan.; mother, Irene Laney and stepfather, Garry Laney of Bentonville, Ark.; brother, Dustin Waite of Bentonville, Ark.; stepbrothers, Karl Inscore of Bentonville, Ark., Mike Laney of Springdale, Ark.; stepsisters, Shanna Powell of Weatherford, Texas, and Laurel Barin of Apache Junction, Ariz., and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, at The Atrium Room of Shorty Small's Restaurant, 2600 W. 76 Country Blvd., Branson, Mo.
