Sherrie Ann Carlon

Sherrie Ann Carlon, age 55, of Fayetteville died Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born March 26, 1958, in Pine Bluff, Ark., the daughter of Louis Leon Griffith and Georgia Ann Jennings. After high school she worked as a telephone operator. She was married to Tom Carlon and lived in various Arkansas towns and finally in Fayetteville. Sherrie is survived by her husband, Tom Carlon of the home; three children, Jason Kimbrell of Redfield, Ark., PFC Spencer Kimbrell of Fort Drum, N.Y., and Samantha Carlon of Fayetteville, Ark. She also leaves behind four grandchildren. Sherrie was an avid cat lover who enjoyed the outdoors and nature. Family and friends will gather on Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, in Conway, Ark., to remember Sherrie. Nelson-Berna Funeral Home handled the cremation arrangements.
