Paul David "Cuz" Ellington, 50, formerly of Rogers, Ark., died Nov. 1, 2013, at his home in Pryor, Okla. Born April 17, 1963, in Rogers to Guy M. Ellington Jr. and Jessie Mae (Henson) Ellington. David enjoyed hunting, fishing and Harley's. He loved to tell his infamous wild stories and was a collector of "everything." He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Marty Ellington. He is survived by his friend and mate, Connie Wente; two sons, Paul Ross Ellington and Joshua David Ellington of Ellisville, Miss.; and a stepson, Christopher Goodwin of Kansas City, Kan.; three grandchildren, Damien, Lincoln and Landin; two brothers, Jerry and Johnny Ellington of Rogers; and three sisters, Bonnie Harvey of Chouteau, Okla., Linda Ellington of Oklahoma City and Jackie Owen of Rogers; six nieces, eight nephews, and many cousins and friends. A memorial service was held Nov. 9 at Freewill Baptist Church in Rogers, with Pastor Eddie Davis officiating. Internment was at Liberty Cemetery in Garfield next to his mother. Many thanks to the caring hearts of the hospice workers in David's final days.
