Dolores Lee Reiss, 77, of Gravette, Ark., died peacefully Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at Northwest Medical Center surrounded by her family. Born on Sept. 2, 1936, in Enid, Okla., to Erma and Curtis Butler, she was the oldest of three girls. She wed Roger Williams in 1955; they had three children and moved to the east coast in the late '60s. She was widowed in 1973. Dolores met and married Roland "Butch" Reiss in New York in 1977 and they moved to the Northwest Arkansas area in 1980. They owned a trucking company where she operated an 18-wheeler with him as well as Ravenwood Farms, raising cattle and sheep in Benton County and McDonald County, Mo. Butch passed away July 4, 2003. Dolores worked at Shepherd's Chapel in Gravette for many years until her retirement in 2011. Dolores is survived by two sisters, Margaret "Friday" Ferguson of Jay, Okla., and Velda Ruyle of Attica, Kan.; three children, Debbie Skinner and son-in-law, Harlan, of Gravette, Ark., John Williams and daughter-in-law, Kim, of Neosho, Mo., and Sharon Roberts of Southwest City, Mo.; 10 grandchildren, Ashlie Martin and husband, Nick, Jillian Kildow and husband, Tony, Harlan Skinner and wife, Julie, Felicia Stites and husband, David, Nick Degan, Michael Roberts, Kayla Williams, Kelly Williams, Jessica Williams and Robin Williams; and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Shepherd's Chapel Sunday, Nov. 24, at 1 p.m. To convey condolences or to sign an online registry, please visit www.funeralmation.com.
