Virginia Gay Morgan

Virginia Gay (Calhoon) Morgan was born May 18, 1952, to Frances Darlene (Gay) and Leonard Willard Calhoon in Ottumwa, Iowa. Virginia (Ginny) passed over to be with our Heavenly Father on Tuesday May 22, 2013, after a valiant battle with cancer. Ginny loved her family deeply and treasured being close to them. Though she enjoyed crafting, she was a stay-at-home mom while raising her children, Jeremy (Sandy) Richards of Pekin, Ill., Steven (Christel) Scarlett of Mount Ayr, Iowa, Travis (Ashley Townsend) Garr of St. Joseph, Mo., and Nicole (Aaron Williams) Myers of Springdale, Ark. Ginny is survived by her sister, Elaine Smuck, of Story City, Iowa; 19 grandchildren, Samantha Jo Eslick, Hillary Ashton Ralph, Devin Mitchell Rohrs, Nathan Loy Berger, Audra Corinne Berger, Desirae Nichole Sumpter, Frankie Rose Scarlett, Tristen Michael Scarlett, Levi Alan Joseph Wilson, Dakota Deiters, Daislyn Blair Miller, Corbin Jacob Tatton, Tara Faye Gregory, Xoie Ann Schames, Ethen Jamison Deyn Townsend, Jadeyn Kendyll Marie Townsend, Riley Zane Maudlin, Kaden James Maudlin and Cloey Louise Maudlin; four great-grandchildren, Gage Allan Eslick, Skyler Raiden Lee, Raelin Jo Sumpter, Maddie Jane Wilson and Mason Louis Williams; five nieces and one nephew, as well as many cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by both parents, her maternal grandmother, Emma Edie, and her oldest sister, Christine Dennison of Centerton, Ark. Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W. Walnut of Rogers is handling arrangements.
