Joie Williams

Joie Williams, 76, of Hindsville, Ark., died May 6, 2013, at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville, Ark. She was born Jan. 26, 1937, in Huntsville, Ark., the daughter of Ewen and Edith Smith Easterling. She was a homemaker, a member of the Hartwell Church of Christ and the widow of Vernon Williams, who preceded her in death on March 29, 2013. She was also preceded in death by two grandsons. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Tammy Williams of Hindsville, Ark.; one daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Tom Willcutt of Fayetteville, Ark.; one grandson, Austin Willcutt of Fayetteville, Ark.; and two granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Maggie and Sam Davidson of Berryville, Ark., and JoBeth and Travis Evans of Huntsville, Ark. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 9, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home, with Ronny Wade, minister, officiating. Interment will be in the Huntsville Cemetery, under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net, of Huntsville, Ark. Pallbearers will be Travis Evans, Sam Davidson, Marty Edens, Randy Parker, Bob Bolinger and Gary Easterling. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Hartwell Church of Christ.
