Bobby J. Clements

Bobby J. Clements, 73, Grove, Okla., passed from this life on June 8, 2013 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, following an illness. Mr. Clements was born Dec. 13, 1939, in Little Rock, Ark., the son of Joseph and Audrey (Ballard) Clements. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from the USDA. He married Betty Lou Case on Oct. 10, 1966, at Grove, Okla., and she preceded him in death on Feb. 6, 1994. He is survived by a daughter, Melissa Clements Patterson, and a son, John Clements, both of Rogers, Ark.; one brother, Charles Clements, Sherwood, Ark.; two sisters, Linda Dyer, Maumelle, Ark., and Rita Thompson, Bonnerdale, Ark.; two grandsons; two granddaughters; and a great-grandchild. In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Billy Clements. Graveside services will be held on Wed., June 12, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the Friendship Cemetery, Springdale, Ark. David Thompson will officiate and military honors will be presented. Serving as pallbearers will be Anthony Brewster, Levi Clements, Chuck Clements, Cliff Kuykendall, Charles Smart and Clay Gilbert. Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. and the family will receive friends Tuesday evening at the funeral home from 6 to 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Bobby may made to the American Heart Association, c/o Clark Funeral Home.
