Mary Jo Godfrey

Mary Jo Godfrey, 89, of Farmington passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Willard Walker Hospice Home. She was born June 5, 1924, in Johnstown, Pa., to Frank and Margaret Slick. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 51 years, Eugene Godfrey. Survivors include her daughter, Mia Benson and husband, Randal, of West Fork; two sons, Aaron Godfrey and wife, Debbie, of Grand Junction, Colo., and Lance Godfrey and wife, Shelley, of Prescott, Ariz.; brother, Ben Slick and wife, Shirley, of Redlands, Calif.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and many friends. Private burial will be held at the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Fayetteville Public Library, 401 W.
