David Lee Shrum

David Lee Shrum, 48, of Pea Ridge, died Thursday, July 18, 2013, in Pea Ridge. He was born Dec. 2, 1964, in Fremont, Calif., to Ralph and Ollie Johnson Shrum. David was a machinist, he worked for Glad Company and was a member of the NHRA. Survivors include his wife, Edith Shrum of the home; one son, J.W. Pursley of Bentonville; his mother, Ollie Shrum of Springdale; stepmother, Sue Shrum of Bentonville: seven brothers, Kenneth Shrum of Lowell, Rickie Shrum of Jacket, Mo., Darrell Shrum of Springdale, Roy Housh of Council Bluff, Iowa, Shannon Housh of Omaha, Nebraska, Eric Housh of Rogers and Doyle Shrum of Bentonville; one sister, Christina A. Housh of Omaha, Neb., and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
