Madelyn Herriman

Madelyn Herriman, age 89, of Huntsville passed away July 13, 2013, in Bryant, Ark. Madelyn was born Nov. 14, 1923, to Agnes Yochum Cook and Shurley Cook, in Depew, Okla. She spent much of her early years near Lampe, Mo., but most of her life in Huntsville, Ark. Madelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Arlis Herriman; daughter, Jann Baker; and granddaughter, Heather Herriman. She is survived by her daughter, Jill (Phil) McConnell of Bryant, Ark.; son, Arlis (Kathy) Herriman Jr. of Fayetteville; son, Joe (Jo Anne) Herriman of Springdale; daughter, Jennifer (Wyatt) Blankenship of Dunellon, Fla.; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with The Reverends John Wimberly and Scott Brandon officiating. Interment will be in the McBroom Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Ark. Pallbearers will be Josh Allen, Todd Herriman, Tyler Herriman, Jack Hudgins, Kevin Hutcheson and Matt Tomiello. In lieu of flowers, send donations to Christian Community Care Clinic, 220 W.
