Suzanne Hendricka Olcott

Suzanne Olcott, age 97, of Springdale, died June 29, 2013, at her home in Springdale. She was born June 11, 1916, in Rochester, Mass., the daughter of Cornelius and Apolonia Van de Kreke Hoevenaar. She had worked in a garment factory as a seamstress and was a homemaker. She enjoyed painting pictures and working in the garden. She was preceded by her husband and one grandson. Mrs. Olcott is survived by two daughters, Sylvia Wagner of Florida and Kathy Fletcher of Springdale, Ark.; one son, Michael Fletcher of Springdale, Ark.; two brothers, Hank Hoevenaar of Michigan and William Hoevenaar of Cincinnati, Ohio; one sister, Ann Koetsier of Grand Rapids, Mich.; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Elm Springs Cemetery with the Rev. Terry Eaton officiating under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
