Grady Garland Ferguson

Grady Garland Ferguson, age 90, of West Fork, died Feb. 1, 2013, at Regency Hospital in Fayetteville. He was born Jan. 6, 1923, in Winters, Texas, the son of Charles Grady and Lora Johnson Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson was of the Baptist faith and served in the United States Navy during World War II. He worked as a law enforcement office in Solano County, California for many years and also attended the FBI Academy. He obtained many degrees during his time working in law enforcement. He enjoyed reading, building things out of wood and shooting guns. He was preceded by his parents and also his wife, Pauline Ferguson in 2002. Mr. Ferguson is survived by three sons: Jack Ferguson of Nashville, Tenn.; Ronald Ferguson of West Fork and David Ferguson of West Fork; two brothers: Winston Ferguson of Hillsboro, Mo., and Donnie Ferguson of Goshen; two sisters: Shirley Paolini of Birds Landing, Calif., and June Murrell of Springdale; two grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Parks Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled.
