Carolyn Evans Hollingshead

Carolyn Evans Hollingshead, 73, of Fayetteville, Ark., died Aug. 18, 2013, at the Veteran's Home in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born July 25, 1940, in Anniston, Ala., the daughter of Leonard and Miriam Bowe. She lived most of her life in Mountain Home, Ark., where she worked as an artist. She and Ron moved to Fayetteville in 2005 to be closer to her family. Carolyn was survived by her husband of 24 years, Ronald Dean Hollingshead, of the home, two stepsons; Ronald Alan Hollingshead and his wife, Martha, of Fayetteville, Keith George Hollingshead, of Fayetteville; one step-daughter, Hilary Diane Lentini and her husband, A.J., of Los Angeles, Calif.; one sister, Eleanor, of Seattle, Wash.; and one brother, Stan and his wife, Jerri, of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; one brother-in-law, Gwin "Corky" Hollingshead of Fayetteville; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Veterans Home Chapel in Fayetteville. Inurnment will be at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
