Vergie Hart Reeves

Vergie Hart Reeves, 94, of Fayetteville passed Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013, in Fayetteville. She was born Jan. 15, 1919, in Monticello, Ark., the daughter of John and Edith Hart. She was a member of Greenland First Baptist Church and sold Avon for many years. Preceded in death by her husband, Lee R. Reeves; son, Roy D. Reeves; and daughter, Martha A. Killian. Survivors: one son, Wesley A. Reeves and wife, Debbie, of Wilmar, Ark.; four daughters, Vergie L. Peterson of Murray, Ky., Betty J. Worrell of Monticello, Laura A. Keeney and husband, Ed, of Westrichland, Wash., and Margaret Mann and husband, Mike, of Fayetteville; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at First Baptist Church in Greenland, with Pastor Eric Howerton officiating.
