Doris A. Streit

Doris A. Streit, age 78, of Springdale, died April 19, 2013 in Springdale. She was born Feb. 25, 1935, in Tuttle, Ark., the daughter of John and Minnie Ward Gage. She had worked at One Hour Fabric Cleaners and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Streit is survived by her husband, Robert Streit, of the home; six children, Brenda Hansen of Lincoln, Janet Wingate of Springdale, Joan Lester, and her husband, Bill, of Farmington, Johnny Littrell, and his wife, Vicki, of Springdale, Patricia Logue, and her husband, Tim, of Wheeler, and Shelly Ratliff, and her husband, Jerry, of Springdale; seven stepchildren, all of Kansas; one sister, Carolyn Boyd, of Wesley; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Eddie Samuels officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 23, 2013, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Private entombment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
