Evelyn Mabel Wade, 84, of Centerton died Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Northwest Medical Cemter in Bentonville. She was born Sept. 24, 1928, in Galveston, Texas. She enjoyed writing poems, playing Bingo, traveling, fishing, camping, reading the newspaper, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Bentonville Church of Christ, and is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Stevie Don Wade; and one sister, Jeannie McDowell. Survivors are her husband of 66 years, Don Wade of the home; one son, Bob Wade and wife, Faye, of Bentonville; two daughters, Suzanne Magelky and husband, Edward, of Bentonville, and Judy Roark and husband, Kevin, of Centerton; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral is set for Tuesday, April 23, 10 a.m. at Bentonville Church of Christ. Visitation is set for Monday, April 22, 5-7 p.m. also at the church. Burial will be at Bentonville Cemetery.
