Geri Lynn (Malsh) McChristian

Geri Lynn (Malsch) McChristian, age 51, of West Fork, a loving wife, daughter and sister, went home to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sept. 19, 2012, after losing her battle with ovarian cancer. Geri was born on April 24, 1961, and is survived by her husband, Rick McChristian of West Fork; her parents, Gerald and Myrle Malsch of Blakely, Ga.; five sisters, Glynda Leary of Clevland, Ohio, Bobbie Poor of Rogers, Patricia Swanson of Michigan City, Ind., Michelle Mainor of Arlington, Ga., Sharon Mazurek of Trezevent, Tenn.; and numerous other relatives and friends. Geri worked for Walmart Optical in Fayetteville and was employed there for many years until her illness took over. She enjoyed hobbies such as scrapbooking and making crafts. She also loved gardening and growing beautiful houseplants. She loved animals and fed the strays that seemed to love to be around her. Geri was a kind and gentle person who loved everyone and will be truly missed by all who knew her. Private family services will be held.
