Robert 'Red' Lee Bone

Robert "Red" Lee Bone, age 78, of Cassville, Mo., passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, in his home surrounded by his family. He was born Nov. 1, 1933, in Boulder, Colo. At a young age his family moved to Pineville, Mo., where he received his education and graduated high school with the class of 1951. Much of his life was spent in Northwest Arkansas, where he was an executive for Tyson Foods in Springdale and was also a commodities broker. Throughout his career, he owned numerous businesses and was also a professional poker player. On July 26, 1973, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth "E" Dudley, who preceded him in death on May 14, 2010. Also preceding him in death were his mother, Lena Wheeler; and a granddaughter, Kaitlyn Breslau. Surviving are his sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth Ann and Marshall Lett of Pineville, Mo.; four children, Annie and David Peck of Springfield, Mo., Greg and Billye Bone of Bentonville, Ark., Jay and Kerri Breslau of Fayetteville, Ark., and Kelly Breslau and Leslie Meeker of Rogers, Ark.; two grandchildren, Jake and Jessica Breslau; his mother-in-law, Aleta Scott of Springdale, Ark.; a sister-in-law, Nancy Henderson of Rogers, Ark.; brother-in-law, Bo and Sally Dudley of Springdale, Ark.; a close friend, Mr. Johnny Bishop of Cassville; and his two loving pups, Daisy and Belle. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, in Spring Creek Cemetery, Springdale, Ark., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville, Mo.
