Kay Lee Staton

Kay Lee Staton, 72 years, of Anderson, Mo., was called to Heaven on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Anderson, Mo. Kay was born on Nov. 11, 1939, in Wichita, Kan., to the late Earl and Beulah (Curtis) Bunch. She lived most of her life in Anderson, Mo. She married William Lee Staton on June 9, 1955. Kay enjoyed ceramics, fishing and riding horses. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, William Lee Staton. Kay is survived by her children, Jimmy Staton of Powell, Mo., Sherri Clymer of Noel, Mo., Johnny Staton of Powell, Mo., Shannon Miner of Grove, Okla., Jammie Staton of Bella Vista, Ark.; five grandchildren, Adam Robertson, Kristina Myers, Keith Clymer, Jennifer Shay and Shawn Staton; several great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Kay. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, at the home of Kristina Myers in Noel, Mo.
