Mary E Crabtree

Mary E. Crabtree, 95, died Aug. 31, 2012, peacefully at home. She was born on April 25, 1917, in Grand Rapids, Mich., to the late Raymond and Bernice (Elliot) Swart. She worked for the American National Bank in Chicago for many years before retiring. She loved to volunteer at the First Presbyterian Church, Friends of the Library, the Friendly Book Store and the local animal shelter. She is survived by her nieces, Sue McGough and husband Dick; Mary Jane San Martin and husband Bob; and many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her first husband, William Cantwell and her second husband George (GW) Crabtree. She was the beloved sister of the late Jane (Swart) Deuser. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rogers Animal Shelter in Mary's name. A memorial service will be on Sept. 12 at 11 in the First Presbyterian Church in Rogers.
