Dwight Edward Jack, 62, of Garfield, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Sept. 1, 2012. He was born July 20, 1950, at Independence, Mo., to the late Merrill Jack and Kathleen Jack. Dwight grew up and attended school in Grandview, Mo. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy in December of 1968 and became a member of SEAL Team Two. After leaving full-time service, he had a diving career that included jobs in the North Sea and along the Gulf Coast. He resided in Navarre, Fla., then moved to the Lost Bridge Community in Garfield to care for his mother and dad. He loved helping others and considered no job too big or too small to tackle. He was always ready with a joke and his infectious grin will be missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his father, Merrill Jack. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Jack of the home; a sister, Debbie and husband, Greg Guthrie, of Flemington, N.J.; nieces, Sarah Guthrie, Grace Assad and husband, Peter, of Kansas City, Mo. Service is set for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5 at Whitney Mountain Chapel in Garfield, with Pastor Alan Tyson officiating. Arrangements are with Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge. In lieu of flowers, donations may go to Lost Bridge Community Church or a favorite charity in Dwight's memory. Online condolences may be made at siscofuneralhome.net.
