Bernice Martina Millis

Bernice Martina Millis, 89, a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away Aug. 22, 2012. in Springdale. She was born Dec. 15, 1922, at Leota, Minn., the daughter of Gerrit and Lena Den Boer Hofkamp. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Prairie Grove. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Leroy Millis; and one son, Robert Millis. Survivors include three sons David Millis of Albuquerque, N.M., Michael Millis of Houston, Texas, and Kenneth Millis of Prairie Grove, Ark.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, 10 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Prairie Grove, Ark.
