Connie Hancock

Connie Jo Hancock, 59, of Fayetteville, Ark., died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at her home. She was born March 22, 1953, in Tulsa, Okla., the daughter of Betty June Lynch Hixson Klutts and Gus Daniel Hixson. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved to play slot machines, she loved her church and loved listening to gospel music and working puzzle books. She was preceded in death by one son; one daughter; her parents; one grandson; one son-in-law; and two ex-husbands. Connie is survived by her husband, Chester Hancock, of the home; one son, Billy and his wife, Leann of Fayetteville; three daughters, Kelly Moog and her husband, Sam of Fayetteville, Destiny Moog of Fayetteville, Cierra Moog of Fayetteville; one brother, David Hixson of Fayetteville; two sisters, Debbie and her husband, Orin of Hindsville, Sharon Booth of Garfield; 30 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 9-11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at Prairie Grove Church of God. Funeral service will be at 12 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at Prairie Grove Church of God with Freida McCaroy officiating. Interment will follow at Wesley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Hixson, Cody Hixson, Sam Moog, Sammy Moog, Brandon Hixson and Jacob Piguet. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Moog, Steven Piguet, Christopher Piguet, Joshua Hixson, J.R.
