Maebelle Kirk

Maebelle Kirk, 87, a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away Nov. 21, 2012, at her home. She was born Oct. 7, 1925, in Evansville, the daughter of Frank and Goldie Wilson Wright. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Prairie Grove. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Kirk; and her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Frankie Higginbotham; and one brother, Harold Wright. Survivors include one son, Robert L. Kirk and wife, Doris of Enid, Okla.; one brother, L.G. Wright and wife, Elaine, of Birmingham, Ala.; two grandchildren, Dewayne Higginbotham and Frankie Darlene Rhudy; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at First Presbyterian Church in Prairie Grove. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Prairie Grove Senior Center, 475 Ed Staggs Drive, Prairie Grove, AR 72753.
