Nancy Lee Knowles

Nancy Lee Knowles, age 79, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, May 20, 2012, in a local hospital. Mrs. Knowles was born July 7, 1932, in Kingston, Ark. She was the owner-operator of Knowles Business Machines and was a member of the Downtown First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Dewell Jones and Ray Knowles; one son, Jim Jones; and one grandson, Jake Jones. Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Orville Jones of Mustang, Okla., Tim and Lisa Knowles of DeKalb, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Predetta and Scooter Maddox of Maud, Texas; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas Chapel. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens.
