Glen Dale Thompson

Glen Dale Thompson, 62, a resident of Lincoln, Ark., passed away May 18, 2012, in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born Feb. 24, 1950, at Atoka, Okla., the son of James Perry and Eula Mae Goss Thompson. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Billy and Ranny Thompson; one sister, Judy Jones; eight half-brothers and -sisters. Survivors include his wife, Kelly Thompson, of the home; two sons, Ronny Thompson and wife, Jennifer, of Johnson, Ark., and James Salsbury of Denison, Texas; four daughters, Linda Garland of Farmington, Ark., Karla Thompson of New Mexico, Wanita Layfield of Oklahoma and Tammy Thompson of Texas; two brothers, Gene Thompson and wife, Judy Thompson, of Sanford, Texas, and Danny Thompson of Texas; one stepson, Jody Dickson and wife, Christina, of Chicago, Ill.; one stepdaughter, Bambi Jeter and husband, Jason Roach, of Morrow, Ark.; 23 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 24, 2012, at 10 a.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove with Jim Kugel officiating. Burial will be in the National Cemetery Fayetteville, Ark.
