Irene McReynolds

Irene Frances McReynolds, 88, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died May 14, 2012, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab. Born July 29, 1923, in Sperry, Okla., she was the daughter of Jim McConnell and Mary Jones McConnell. She lived most of her life in the Siloam Springs area and attended John Brown University. She was a member of Arkansas EHC of Cincinnati and was Treasurer/Secretary for Old Union Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ark. Irene was a member of the Cincinnati Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon McReynolds in 1999; one son, Jackie McReynolds; and her parents. Survivors include one son, James McReynolds of Fayetteville, Ark.; one daughter, Brenda McCutcheon of Siloam Springs; eight grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Vivian Meisel of Lakewood, Calif.; and one brother, George McConnel of Peel, Ark. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at the Cincinnati Methodist Church, Cincinnati, Ark., with the Rev. Andy Newbill officiating. Burial will be at Old Union Cemetery, Cincinnati.
