Faith Denise Whitcomb

Faith Denise Whitcomb, 52, of Decatur, Ark., passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2012, in Bentonville, Ark. Denise was born on May 17, 1959, to Robert and Doris Whitcomb and was raised for two decades in Escondido, Calif., where she attended the local Seventh-day Adventist School in San Pasqual Valley. At age 19, she moved to Gentry, Ark., to live near her cousins. Denise was a hard worker and when she was no longer able to work, she did things like mow lawns, etc. She planted trees in Louisiana and later she worked for Simmons Ind., Northwest Arkansas Poultry and Peterson's Ind. Denise attended the Decatur Seventh-day Adventist Church where she had many friends. Survivors include two sisters, Roberta and Paul Nygaard, Rifle, Colo., Marcella and Ray Trussell, Escondido, Calif.; five nieces and nephews; cousins, Nels, Charlotte, Darla and Robert; special friends, Velma, Andrea and Bud; her landlord, Virginia Eldred. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at 12:15 p.m. at the Decatur Seventh-day Adventist Church. Mr. Benton Robinson will officiate the service.
