Mary Margaret Rich (nee Seibold) of Barling, Arkansas, loving wife of Joseph F. Rich (deceased 1984), nurturing mother and the world's greatest grandmother was received into the loving hands of the Lord on March 14, 2012, in Fayetteville, Ark. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Gertrude Erman Seibold; and her brother, Herman J. Seibold Jr. of Barling; and survived by her sister, Dorothy Jones of Barling; and many nieces and nephews. Mary graduated from St. Scholastica Academy in 1941 and was very active in the Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Barling, Ark. She was a member of the Catholic Women's Union, attended weekly quiltings, taught school and painted the Stations of the Cross currently hanging in the church. Rosary will be 6 p.m. today, March 16, 2012, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012, at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2012, at Fort Smith National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith. She is survived by four children, Mary Ann Webb and husband Charles of Prairie Grove, Ark., Joseph Rich and wife Peggy Lukkasson-Rich of Santa Clara, Calif., Jane Rich of New Bern, N.C., and Robert Rich and wife Nancy Jenkins Rich of Converse, Texas; five granddaughters, Marla Webb and fiancé Scott Brocail of Fayetteville, Ark., Sarah Rich and husband Ben Foster of Los Angeles, Calif., Emily Stomps and husband Jim of Salem, Ore., Elizabeth Wyatt and husband Mitch of Henderson, N.C., and Shawn Russell and husband Erick of Converse, Texas; two grandsons, Joshua Rich of Campbell, Calif., and Eric Rich of Birmingham, Ala.; four great-granddaughters, Hannah Stomps of Salem, Ore., Camden Wyatt of Henderson, N.C., Caitlin Rye and husband James of Converse, Texas, and Dezeree Rich of Ponca City, Okla.; three great-grandsons, Brock Stomps of Salem, Ore., Gavin Rich of Converse and Braeden Russell of Converse, Texas; and two great-great-granddaughters, Riley Rye and Bailey-Anne Rye of Converse, Texas. Pallbearers will be Joseph Rich, Robert Rich, Scott Brocail, Mike Seibold, Herman Lenhardt and Brad Jones. Memorials may be made to the Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1301 Frank St., Barling, AR 72927.
