Anna Webster Azlin

Anna Webster Azlin, 90, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died March 12, 2012, at her home. She was born April 5, 1921, in Sebree, Ky. Anna was raised by her grandparents, George and Irene Webster, and her uncle, Johnnie Webster. She married Dalton Azlin on Sept. 21, 1940, in Athens, Ala. She moved from Memphis to Siloam Springs in 1985. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Siloam Springs. She was a Sunday school teacher for over 40 years and wrote a book of poetry enjoyed by many people. She was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Earl Azlin; one daughter, Jonna Daltine Azlin; and one grandson, William David White II. Survivors include her husband, Dalton of the home; three daughters, Lucy Azlin of Alexandria, La., Catherine Azlin White and husband, David, of West Memphis, Ark., and Bettye Azlin Pitner and husband, David, of Siloam Springs; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Ark., with Pastor Chuck Bengtson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 14, 2012, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
