Elaine Marie Hibdon

Elaine Marie Hibdon, 46, of Burkburnett, Texas, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She was born Aug. 11, 1965, in Tokyo, Japan, the daughter of Rhad K. and Martha L. Stilwell Brooks. She graduated from East Central High School in Tulsa, Okla. Elaine was a homemaker and a Baptist. Elaine was a military wife and lived in several states. She worked several years as a flower arranger and enjoyed spending time with her family. Elaine was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph and Juanita Brooks and Don and Ita Stilwell, all of Rogers, Ark. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Vincent Hibdon of the home; one son, Scott Hibdon of Leavenworth, Kan.; and one daughter, Jordan Hibdon of Wichita Falls, Texas; grandson, Anthony Hibdon; her parents, Rhad and Martha Brooks of Mustang, Okla.; brother, Steven and his wife, Stephanie Brooks, of Mustang, Okla., and their children, Kaylyn, Kaleb and Sage. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth St., Rogers. Private interment will follow in the Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery.
