Al (Alphonse Anthony) Greiner passed away Monday, June 25, 2012, in Bartlesville, Okla. Al was born on Jan. 11, 1927, in Stillwater, Okla., to A.M. Greiner and Clara (Shafer) Greiner. Al graduated from Oklahoma A&M College, and then served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After being honorably discharged, he began his career in the oil business. He was loved by all who knew him. Al was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Georgene (Kelsey) Greiner. He is survived by his wife, Diane Jeanne (Andrews) Greiner, of 35 years; children, Peggy Longworth and her husband, Steve, of Flower Mound, Texas, Cindy Greiner of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Cathy Casad and her husband, Maurice, of Bartlesville, Okla.; stepchildren, Patricia Sayre and her husband, John, of Nashville, Ark., David Rau and his wife, Linda, of Belleplain, N.J., and Judy Scoggins and her husband, Dwight, of Post Falls, Idaho; grandchildren, Skylar (Greiner) Sever, Stefanie (Longworth) Stewart, Kyle Longworth and Kelsey and Megan Casad; step-grandchildren, Lauren, Ashley and Emily Rau, Laura and Ed Lincoln, Darin and Justin Scoggins, Catie (Sayre) Ross, Will and David Sayre and Laura (Sayre) Solkey; and 10 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, Okla. A reception is to immediately follow at the Comfort Inn Hotel. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Bartlesville, Okla.
