Arthur Elie Skaggs, Jr.

Arthur Elie Skaggs Jr., 75, of Decatur, passed away June 8, 2012, in his home. He was born Oct. 31, 1936, the son of Arthur Elie Skaggs Sr. and Tennie Peterson Skaggs. He was a retired maintenance employee for Tyson's and Petersons Farms and a member of the Pentecostal Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Connie Beals Skaggs; one daughter, Tennie Ratledge; three great- grandchildren, Kayla and Jacob Ratledge and Dalton Tate. Survived by his children, Terry Skaggs of Gravette; Audrey Siewell, Logan Skaggs, Julia Goodman, Timothy Skaggs, Burnard Case Skaggs and JoCassiaVela, all of Decatur; three sisters, Mary, Lois and Sarah; 18 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Cremation arrangements by Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth St., Rogers, Ark.
