Vera C. Medley

Vera C. Medley, age 93, of Fayetteville, passed away July 18, 2012. Vera was born June 25, 1919, in Wesley, Ark., to parents, Edward Duncan and Lillie Guthrie Duncan. She was united in marriage with Sterling Medley and they enjoyed many years together. Vera worked as a nurse's aide. She was also a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses, enjoyed reading the Bible and was a square-dancer. Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Medley in 2002; parents; and other siblings. She is survived by her sons, Dean Medley and Gary Don Medley of Fayetteville; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be at the Fayetteville National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers.
