Stephen Michael Seifert

Stephen Michael Seifert, age 45, of Grove, Okla., passed away July 7, 2012. Steve was born Nov. 24, 1966, in Stockton, Calif., to parents Stephen Seifert and Phyllis-Fahey Seifert. As a young man, Steve served in both the United States Army and Navy. After the military he worked mainly as a welder. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his daughters and grandchildren. Steve is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Shockley and husband, Dusty, of Van Buren, Ark., Laney Seifert of Grove, Okla., Marjorie Siron of Jane, Mo.; parents, Stephen Seifert of Joplin, Mo., and Phyllis Seifert of Tahlequah, Okla.; brother, Johnnie Seifert of Hilo, Hawaii; sister, Kimberly Seifert-Patterson and her husband, James, of Bentonville, Ark.; grandchildren, Parker Shockley and London Shockley of Van Buren, Ark., and Jakoby Eaton and Cole Eaton of Jane, Mo.; and four nephews, four nieces and two great-nephews. Graveside services are set for 2 p.m. Friday, July 13, 2012, at the Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ark. Visitation will be Friday morning at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to noon. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers, Ark.
