Stephen Daniel McCarty

Stephen Daniel McCarty, age 30, of Farmington, died Jan. 19, 2012, in Farmington. He was born May 23, 1981, in Springdale, Ark., the son of Gary Dayne and Jana Lewis McCarty. He was a member of Faith Regular Baptist Church and enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing and all kinds of water activities. Stephen was preceded by his father, Gary McCarty; his maternal grandparents, Afton and Betty Lewis; and his paternal grandfather, Alvin McCarty. Stephen is survived by his mother, Jana McCarty, of Farmington; one brother, Christopher McCarty and his wife, Stephanie, and their children, Savanna, Shenia and Taylor; and his paternal grandmother, Shirley McCarty and Nathan of West Fork. Funeral services will be Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home, with the Rev. Randall Galloway officiating. Burial will follow in Cave Springs Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Michael Russell, Brian Russell, Bill Klenke, Jeff Doyle and Jason Doyle.
