Barbara Dell Ferguson Evans

Barbara Dell Ferguson Evans, 69, of Bella Vista, Ark., born Feb. 13, 1943, in Mena, Ark., died on Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, surrounded by her family and friends. Barbara was a wonderful and devoted wife of 49 years and she enjoyed a wide circle of loving friends who will dearly miss her warm heart, bright smile and engaging laugh. She will be deeply missed by all the lives she touched and blessed with her friendship. Preceding her in death were her loving parents, Clarence and Thelma Lou Ferguson; sister, Jeanne Ferguson Conforti; and loving sister-in-law and friend, Joyce Reynolds Mueller. She is survived by her best friend/husband, Roger Lane Evans; loving and loyal canine friend, Floppy Evans; sister, Kay Ferguson Tenney (Hank); son, Jeffrey Lane Evans (Mara); grandchildren, Bailey Dell and Preston; brother, Patrick Duane Ferguson (Carol); sister-in-law, Jane Evans Barnes; brother-in-law, Murray Evans (Jonibeth); she also leaves behind numerous loving nieces, nephews and a goddaughter. Services will be held Monday, Feb. 20, at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church located at 20 Boyce Drive in Bella Vista. The service will be officiated by senior pastor Jaimie Alexander. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.
