Michelle Reane Johnson

Michelle Reane Johnson, 45, of Decatur, Ark., died Dec. 18, 2012, at her residence. She was born Jan. 4, 1967. She moved from her hometown of Salinas, Calif., to Decatur, Ark., in 1997. She attended Hartnel College and worked as an accountant. She attended New Life Christian Center. She was a doting mother of Aaron McKay, Amanda Horner (Moo) and Kenneth Horner. She was a loving sister to Tanda Stephens. She liked to give back to her community by donating her time to the Benton County 4-H Horse Club and Rubber Ducky Days. Her favorite pastimes were flower gardening, being silly with her children, taking camp trips with the horses and exploring the Ozarks, "Cowgirl up, Sister!" She also enjoyed long walks on the beach in Monterey watching the sunsets. She was preceded in death by one brother, James Eric Altemeyer. She leaves behind her maternal uncles, Archie Patton, Lon Garrette Patton and Wayne Patton and their families; her paternal grandmother, Dorothy Altemeyer; father, Larry Altemeyer; stepmother, Charlotte Altemeyer; brothers, Chuck, Tim, Ryan; sister, Cindy Altemeyer and families; uncle, Butch Altemeyer; and aunt, Jeannie Simmons, and families; all of our hearts will miss you. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers. Arrangements are by Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers.
