Sylvia Grace Gustafson

Sylvia Grace Kimpan Gustafson, 81 of Bentonville died Dec. 6, 2012, at Bradford House Nursing Center. She was born to George and Grace Schumaker Kimpan on March 12, 1931, in Waterman, Ill. She attended Kaneville High School in Kaneville, Ill. Later she attended the Madonna Catholic School for Girls. She is survived by her husband, Leroy Gustafson; one daughter and three sons, Kevin Gustafson and his wife, Marilyn Cooley Gustafson, of Little Rock, Judi Gustafson of Bella Vista, Ark., Joe Gustafson and his wife, Beverly Abbett Gustafson, of Lee's Summit, Mo., and Jerry Gustafson of Batavia, Ill.; her brothers and sisters, Larry and Shirley Kimpan of Hinckley, Ill., John and Jodene Kimpan of Oswega, Ill., Joan Kimpan Boston of Oswego, Ill.; four grandchildren, Justin Thompson, Jessica Gustafson, Connor Gustafson and Julia Gustafson. She was preceded in death by her parents, George Kimpan and Grace Schumaker Kimpan; her stepmother, Mary Kimpan; her sisters, Deborah Kimpan and Deanna Kimpan Wyland; and her brother, George Kimpan. Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Dec. 12 at the Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista. Arrangements are under the care of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
