Barbara J. Foster

Barbara J. Foster, 67, a resident of Fayetteville, passed away Dec. 6, 2012, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born Sept. 18, 1945, in Prairie Grove, the daughter of Ben F. and Abbie Luttrell Hulet. Barbara was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Lincoln and a nurse for 45 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved animals and never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shan Foster. Survivors include one son, Shan "Jr" Foster and his fiance, Emy Bunnell, of Rhea's Mill; one daughter, Mandy Foster of Prairie Grove and her fiance, Jeff Roberts; one granddaughter, Taylor Foster; one stepsister, Patti Rice of Las Vegas; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 to 7 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Luginbuel Chapel with burial in Wedington Cemetery.
