David Eugene Hodge

David Eugene Hodge, age 66, of Fayetteville passed away Nov. 30, 2012, at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. David was born in Pueblo, Colo., on March 22, 1946, to Earl and Mona (Velarde) Hodge. David served his country in the United States Army as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division during the Vietnam War and received an honorable discharge. He was involved in the American Legion, and enjoyed art and fossil hunting, and David was a student of life and he will be missed very much. Preceded in death by his parents; one son, Victor Earl Hodge; and one brother, Joseph Hodge; David is survived by his wife, Debbie of Fayetteville; two sons, David Eugene Hodge Jr. of Hamburg, Ark., Eric Jason Hodge and wife, Carrie, of Missouri; two daughters, Amanda Kay Arnold of Rogers and Anita Marie Burke and husband, Gary, of California; one brother, William "Bill" Hodge and wife, Roberta, of Colorado; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
