Mary Ellen Smith-Warford

Mary Ellen Smith-Warford, 61, passed peacefully from this life at her home in Sand Springs, Okla., on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012. Mary was born on May 22, 1951, in Bentonville, Ark., to James and Della Mae (Moser) Jacobs. Mary grew up in Arkansas and was a Bentonville High School graduate. In her spare time, Mary enjoyed cooking, sewing, playing card games and gardening. She also loved traveling and her favorite destination was Alaska. Her most treasured times, however, were spent with her children and her cherished grandchildren. Preceding Mary in death were her parents, James and Della Mae Jacobs; and an infant brother. She is lovingly survived by her husband, James; daughters, Stephanie Manes and husband, Robert, and Crystal Patterson and husband, Justin; stepdaughters, Susan Baker and Kimberly Trammel; brothers, James Jacobs Jr. and Timothy Jacobs; sisters, Delta Sheffield and Tabitha Cleveland; grandchildren, Daniel and Evelyn Manes, Gabrielle, Liam, Luke and Lillian Patterson, Elisa and Colt Baker and Emily Field; and great-grandchild, Xara. A celebration of life honoring Mary is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at the Mobley-Dodson Chapel.
