Lela Jean Rogers

Lela Jean Rogers of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, in Fayetteville. She was born Feb. 19, 1942, in Springdale, Ark., to Troy James Thomas and Lela Mae (Black) Thomas. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Al Rogers. She is survived by one son, Bobby Rogers of Fayetteville, Ark.; two daughters, Pamela Napier and Debbie Lea, both of Fayetteville, Ark.; one brother, James Thomas of Fayetteville, Ark.; two sisters, Geneva Rye of Fort Smith, Ark., Sally Morrison of Fayetteville, Ark.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at Drakes Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
