Lavurn Ann Mitchell

Lavurn Ann Mitchell, 72, of Bentonville died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, at a local nursing home. She was born in Arkansas, Dec. 22, 1939, the daughter of Chester and Charlotte Sheppard. She was a nurse for many years. Preceded in death by husband, Wilburn Mitchell; and sons, Lonnie and Randy. Survivors: sons, James Mitchell of Bentonville, David Mitchell of Missouri; brothers, Ronnie and Lonnie Sheppard; sisters, Wanda Barnes and Ruth Jones; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
