Marilyn Sue Etherson

Marilyn Sue Etherton, 76, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Aug. 8, 2012, at Washington Regional Medical Center, Fayetteville, Ark. Born Dec. 6, 1935, in Trenton, Mo., she was the daughter of Ernest F. Dean and Betha Moore Dean. She lived in Flint Ridge for 16 years prior to moving to Siloam Springs. She was a medical records technician for 20 years at Wright Memorial Hospital and worked at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital for five years. She was a member of the Flint Ridge Chapel, Flint Ridge, Okla. The family is rejoicing that she is whole now and with the Lord. She married George Robert Etherton on April 18, 1954, in Trenton, Mo, She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Dennis Etherton. Survivors include her husband, George of 58 years; three sons, Randy Etherton and wife, Brenda, of Siloam Springs, Gary Etherton of Cameron, Mo., Bob Etherton of Siloam Springs; one daughter, Rebecca Etherton of Siloam Springs; one daughter-in-law, Tina Etherton of Tahlequah, Okla.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Jonalee Stickler and husband, Kenneth, of St. Joseph, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Nick Braschler officiating. To sign the online guestbook, visit www.wassonfuneralhome.com.
