Carrie A. Coenen

Carrie A. Coenen, age 43, of Rogers, passed from this life on July 31, 2012. She was born in Ironton, Ohio, on Nov. 18, 1968. Carrie graduated Missouri Southern State College with a bachelor's degree in nursing, and was a registered nurse at St. John's in Joplin and at St. Mary's/Mercy in Rogers. She was a former member of Fellowship Bible Church and a member of Central United Methodist Church in Rogers. She is survived by her beloved husband, Don Coenen; sons, Pierce and Max Coenen of the home; parents, Tim McClellan of Louisville, Ky., and Arlene McClellan of Ironton, Ohio; brother, Sean McClellan and Sarah McHale of Rogers; sister, Tracy Duvall, husband Gerald, and their four sons of Marshall, Texas. A celebration of Carrie's life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at Central United Methodist Church in Rogers, officiated by her friend, the Rev. Pamela Cicioni, and the Rev. Dawn Spragg of the church. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, should be made to the Mercy Foundation, 2710 Rife Medical Lane, Rogers 72758; or to Healing Hands of Mercy Massage Foundation, P.O.
