Louis Morgan Cox

Louis Morgan Cox, 56, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012, in Bentonville, Ark. He was born Nov. 4, 1955, to A.B. and Jean Cox of Dardanelle, Ark. His brother, Arthur Bentley Cox, of Russellville, AR, preceded him in death, as well as his son, Louis Morgan Cox, Jr., in December 2009. Morgan's survivors are his daughter, Celeste Cox, of Fayetteville, Ark., and her mother, Liz Cox, of Bella Vista, Ark. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.B. Cox, of Dardanelle; his brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Dinah Cox of Dumas, Ark; and his sister-in-law, Debbie Cox of Dallas, Texas, also survive him. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins also mourn the loss of Morgan Cox. Morgan was an invaluable part of each communityin which he lived. He spent nine years leading small churches in Sledge, Miss., Augusta, Ark., and Berryville, Ark. Later, he served as a financial advisor at Arvest Bank. He was a husband, a proud father, and a loving son and brother. He never tired in his advocacy for his friends and for those in need. All who are left behind will miss him dearly. A private family service is planned for his interment in Bentonville Cemetery. Friends and loved ones are invited to a memorial reception on Thursday, Aug. 2. The gathering will be held at Fellowship Bible Church of NWA in Rogers.
